Job Summary
Perform all press make-ready functions, including hanging plates, loading ink and stock, and maintaining proper ink settings. Verify job ticket specifications, run print jobs upon quality approval, and ensure consistent quality throughout press runs. Remove plates and inks, wash up the press, and troubleshoot job or press problems as necessary. Report malfunctions, supply shortages, or unresolved issues to the group leader or manager. Assist in packaging products for internal and external shipments and support daily production changeovers. Requires previous lithography experience, ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift including weekends and holidays, and availability to stand or lift up to 35 pounds for 8-12 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Lithography experience
- Ability to use scale and margin guides
- Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training
- Must be available to work 2nd or 3rd shift, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Ability to be on feet up to 8-12 hours per shift
- Frequently lift 35 pounds or more
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and climb
- Use of hands and fingers to perform job function
