Job Summary
Enforce safety procedures to achieve zero accidents while supervising manufacturing policies and training for highest quality product delivery. Oversee daily and monthly production activities, manage manpower adjustments, and report issues to the area manager for process and disciplinary actions. Assist in developing the annual profit plan by defining departmental budgets, forecasting, identifying equipment requirements, and establishing continuous improvement programs. Provide input on new product plans and enhance business objectives across the plant, division, and corporation. Participate in problem-solving efforts and lead applied leadership experiences within employee teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field of study
- 5 to 8 Years of experience at Press Area
- 3 to 5 years of Experience as Press Operations Manager
- Weekend Availability (On Demand)
- Availability after Work Hours to Support Escalations and monitor Press Results
- Participation in a significant role on the MOS, either deploying practice, training in a tool or methodology, leading problem solving or other applied leadership experience
- Proficient computer skills/Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point)
- Technical knowledge of Procedures, Products, Planning, Quality, Safety and Processes
- Product knowledge with component identification
