Job Summary
Entry-level Press Support on 1st shift responsible for preparing components for molding process or post-molding process, handling production paperwork, entering information into a computer, assembling and packing molded parts, applying tape/cork to conductors, forming brass mesh, using pulse welding equipment, applying bonding materials and conductive paint, buffing/sanding/deburring parts, and providing relief for press operators during breaks. Requires attention to detail, ability to operate small handheld tools, visual inspection and gauging of parts, and willingness to work overtime in a non-climate-controlled factory setting.
Required Qualifications
- Production experience a plus
- Some computer skills needed
- Must be able to operate small handheld tools on a regular basis
- Must be able to visually inspect machined parts as well as gauge them utilizing several types of hand-held gauges
- Must be available to work overtime hours on a shift or mandatory Saturday overtime
- Education Requirements: High school equivalent and 18 years of age
- Must be able to lift as much as 50 lbs. several times a day
- Must be able to stand for the vast majority of the shift
- Must be able to perform manual work in a non-climate-controlled factory setting
