Job Summary
Set up and run 3 Ton compaction presses, performing in-process inspection, tray loading, and furnace monitoring while executing first piece, flow, and final visual sorting. Conduct daily set-ups and adjust powder levels to meet tight production requirements, switching between multiple presses and pitches within the cell. Operate inspection equipment simultaneously and react in real time to maintain specifications throughout long runs. Requires high school diploma, 1–3 years manufacturing experience, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 –3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to set up and run compaction presses
- Perform 2 – 3 set-ups per shift when necessary
- Operate multiple presses or inspection equipment at the same time
- Mechanical aptitude
- Excellent mathematical aptitude
- Knowledge of tools and gauges
- Blueprint reading
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work independent as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
