Job Summary
Set up and operate primary and secondary presses for blanking, piercing, bending, and re-holing side plates and attachments. Maintain equipment to high efficiency and quality standards while measuring chain component parameters and determining corrective actions. Retrieve raw materials and transfer finished components to ensure continuous operation. Assist in training and developing other operators. This role requires strong mechanical ability, trade school graduation, and experience with complex power presses. Candidates must be self-motivated, adaptable to change, and capable of handling heavy weights. Work closely with team members and supervisors to satisfy internal and external customer needs within the US Tsubaki power transmission and motion control division.
Required Qualifications
- Must have successfully completed an approved training program as to setting up and operating all equipment in section
- Strong mechanical ability
- Trade school graduate or any additional training in the trades
- Sufficient knowledge of blanking / fabrication and other power presses, and tooling required, to maintain close tolerances and work specifications
- Experience in setting up and maintaining other types of complex mechanical equipment
- Self-motivated to take ownership of work schedule and quality
- Willing to accept change to support being a Fast – Flexible - Efficient section
- Capable of handling heavy weight
