Job Summary
Conduct advanced CNC machine operations, perform complex set-ups, and load computer programs for each job while monitoring high-tech equipment to ensure part specifications. Troubleshoot breakdowns by diagnosing issues, disassembling equipment, and replacing defective components to minimize downtime. Maintain quality standards through continuous inspections, tool sharpening, and general machine maintenance including oil and coolant checks. Complete required paperwork for production counts, scrap logs, and shift communications while keeping the work area clean under 6S standards. Rotate between machines and participate in lean manufacturing activities to improve processes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Three (3) years experience
- knowledge of basic math skills
- ability to read, write, speak and understand basic English
- proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
- ability to use micrometers, calipers, go/no-go gauges, or indicators
- ability to perform visual inspection
- ability to read part drawings and blue prints
- ability to learn, problem-solve, and make decisions per work instructions and documents
- ability to communicate and work as a team member
- ability to securely load and align raw materials
- ability to orient workpieces
- ability to adjust programs (X, Y, Z and R axes)
- ability to disassemble, clean, and reassemble ink cups, print pads, and fixtures
- familiarity with touch-screen machine interfaces
- familiarity with Microsoft Outlook/Teams
- familiarity with Inventory management (components & production supplies)
- familiarity with Production schedule adherence & record-keeping
- understanding of ink chemistry
