Job Summary
Operate a vinyl base film printer and laminator, including setup, machine adjustments, and preventative maintenance. Manage cylinder changes, material staging, and ink mixing while performing routine equipment checks and cleaning. Execute quality control duties such as color verification against master samples, defect elimination, and accurate completion of production logs and material tags. Troubleshoot press errors to ensure conforming product output and minimize waste. Maintain safety compliance, housekeeping, and accurate record-keeping throughout the production cycle.
Required Qualifications
- Education equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year high school
- Capability to perform simple mathematical calculations
- Ability to understand and implement oral and written instructions
- Capability to maintain accurate written records
- Physical means to perform all duties assigned in a safe and efficient manner
- Good eyesight and capability to detect differences in colors and textures
- Demonstrated above average mechanical aptitude
- Basic computer/ERP skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs assisted by another person
