Job Summary
Set up silkscreen presses, including screens, inks, and substrates, according to work order specifications. Operate silkscreen printing presses to ensure consistent print quality, proper alignment, and tight registration throughout production runs. Monitor print quality, perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot issues related to press operation or ink consistency. Maintain accurate production records, monitor inventory levels, and keep the work area clean and compliant with safety standards. This role supports Steven Label's manufacturing of labels and medical device components across California, Arizona, and Mexico.
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of the silk screen printing process
- Ability to work with tight registrations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in press maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ability to log and document equipment maintenance activities
- Willingness to be cross trained in other areas as needed
- Ability to read and understand work instructions in English
- Adherence to all company safety procedures and policies
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work overtime and Saturdays as needed
