Job Summary
Operate hydraulic, mechanical, or dial presses to produce bearing components at proper production and quality levels, performing tasks such as bearing assemblies, stamping, compression, and installing shields. Conduct bench operations including burring, sorting, inspecting, and checking for spins or cracks in races. Utilize measuring devices like micrometers, verniers, and radial play gages to ensure accuracy. Maintain accurate production counts, clean bearings and machinery, and report discrepancies to the lead person or supervisor. Keep the workplace clean and safe while moving materials and performing any other reasonable duties assigned.
