Job Summary
Operate press-set up to produce parts per specifications; perform blanking, piercing, forming and drawing on various parts; change materials on smaller machines; inspect parts with micrometer or similar tools to verify conformance; perform in-process inspection and follow control plans; document all required production data and prepare products for the next step; communicate machine issues; ensure safe operation and teamwork; overtime as needed; based in Elk Grove Village, IL with benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, EAP, short-term disability, life/accidental insurance; salary determined by experience and skills within $18-$25/hour range.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience
- Ability to read blueprints and production procedures/instructions
- Basic knowledge of controls
- Ability to read production procedures/instructions
- Must be dependable, reliable and able to work well on a team
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours/day
- Ability to work overtime as needed
