Job Summary
Load newsprint, make pasters, monitor reel stands, set ink densities, adjust registration, fill ink fountains, set folders, and perform plate making on a Goss Urbanite press. Maintain a safe and clean press area while producing print products according to customer specifications and deadlines. Shadow journey-level operators to learn offset printing operations or perform all aspects of the role independently. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with night shifts available as needed. Candidates must be 18 or older, possess mechanical aptitude, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Join Lee Enterprises to work on daily and weekly newspapers serving 114 markets across 25 states.
