Job Summary
Night shift press operator sets up and operates dies, presses, and auxiliary equipment to produce stamped components, supports die development with die assembly and quality teams, inspects parts for conformance to specifications, and maintains production and quality records. Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, using overhead cranes and forklifts safely, keeping work areas clean and organized, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures and regulations. Requires reading blueprints/manufacturing drawings, basic math, mechanical aptitude, effective communication, PPE usage, and U.S. work authorization.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings
- Basic math skills including measurements and calculations
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or otherwise able to comply with U.S. export regulations
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship
- Experience operating stamping presses, cranes, or industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Successful completion of Apprenticeship Program or equivalent manufacturing experience
