Job Summary
Press Operator in Walkerton, Ontario, focused on setting up equipment and producing parts per drawings and quality standards. Responsibilities include reading technical drawings, performing in-process inspections and sign-off of first-off parts, identifying and reporting non-conformances, troubleshooting equipment issues, supporting preventative maintenance, participating in process improvements and 5S initiatives, assisting with new product development, operating additional presses as required, and performing other duties to support production needs. Ideal candidates have technical/mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, some computer skills (Microsoft 365), a high school diploma or equivalent, and a willingness to learn in a team-centered environment; previous press operating experience and a driver’s license are preferred. The role is permanent full-time on the Afternoon shift (10-hour days, Mon-Thu, 3:30pm–2:00am) with competitive benefits and pay; training and development opportunities, ESOP, and a community-focused workplace are highlighted.
Required Qualifications
