Job Summary
The Press Operator will set up, operate, and maintain printing presses (Mark Andy or similar) to produce high-quality label rolls in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Interpret job orders for specifications such as quantity, materials, timelines, and anilox BCM; install and adjust plates, rollers, dies, cylinders, and related components; monitor feeding, printing, and racking with real-time adjustments as needed; troubleshoot mechanical or print-quality issues and implement rapid solutions; maintain a clean, organized workspace per 5S standards; collaborate with team members and perform additional duties as assigned. 4-day workweek on 2nd shift.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating flexographic printing presses (Mark Andy preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
