Job Summary

Set up, operate, and monitor a Mark Andy flexographic printing press to produce high-quality label rolls while adjusting speed, temperature, registration, and ink flow. Inspect printed products for clarity and color consistency, correcting defects and optimizing print quality throughout production runs. Manage inks and materials by mixing, blending, and replenishing supplies, then package finished products for shipment. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation to support continuous improvement and safety compliance in a manufacturing environment. Work the 2nd shift at an hourly rate of $20.00–$24.00 plus a $1.50 shift differential.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, specifications, and production documentation
  • Ability to wear required PPE, including hearing protection, safety glasses, face shields, and cut-resistant gloves
  • Near, distance, peripheral, and depth perception vision abilities
  • Ability to distinguish colors accurately
  • Manual dexterity and sense of touch
  • Ability to lift 10 lbs constantly
  • Ability to lift 11 to 20 lbs frequently
  • Ability to lift 21 to 50 lbs frequently
  • Ability to lift 51 to 100 lbs frequently
  • Ability to lift over 100 lbs occasionally with assistance
  • Ability to push up to 12 lbs constantly
  • Ability to push 13 to 25 lbs frequently
  • Ability to push 26 to 40 lbs frequently
  • Ability to push 41 to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to pull up to 12 lbs constantly

Desired Qualifications

  • Technical certification or associate degree in Printing Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field
  • Prior flexographic printing experience, preferably on Mark Andy presses
  • Experience in label, packaging, or converting manufacturing environments
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to use measuring devices, gauges, inspection tools, and color-matching equipment
  • Understanding of flexographic printing processes and print quality standards
  • Basic data entry and production reporting skills
