Job Summary
Operate rubber press machines to produce high-quality rubber seals and components; load raw rubber into molds and remove finished parts from the press; inspect parts for quality issues such as flash, voids, or incomplete curing; trim excess material using hand tools or trimming equipment; monitor machine settings, including temperature, pressure, and cycle times; make minor machine adjustments within training guidelines; keep work area clean, organized, and safe; accurately complete production and quality records; work with your team to meet production goals and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Previous rubber press or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or GED preferred
