Job Summary
Operate primary molding equipment on the 3rd shift to maintain product quality, record and share process information, and apply basic math and SPC fundamentals. Maintain procedures, measure and interpret results using appropriate equipment, train others, and support continuous improvement while ensuring reliable attendance and teamwork with production and other areas. This full-time role at Keystone Powdered Metal Company (Sumitomo Electric Group) in Cherryville, NC, reports to the Production Supervisor and offers base pay between $17 and $21 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Able to read and understand procedures and process sheets
- Able to perform basic math operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Understand decimals, fractions, percentages, and averages
- Able to write legible sentences
- Operate and adjust equipment properly
- Properly use measuring equipment and interpret results
- Understand and apply SPC fundamentals
- Demonstrate positive teamwork and cooperative behaviors
- Maintain documentation and records of procedures and results
- Participate in training of others and assist in evaluating performance
