Press Operator Apprentice - Offset Print - 1st Shift

Operator Apprentice in offset printing will learn all aspects of the trade under the Print Lead/Manager, with the goal of independently setting up and operating the press safely to achieve optimum print quality and production speeds. Duties include reviewing job specifications, setting up and operating the press, maintaining safety and quality standards, assisting with feeder setup/troubleshooting, inspecting printed boards for accuracy, documenting productivity and downtime, performing routine cleaning and maintenance, participating in trainings on color management and new procedures, and assisting the 2nd Press Operator and supervisor as needed. Training progress is reviewed weekly, with potential promotion to First Press Operator upon successful completion. Strong mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, English communication, and willingness to work overtime are required.
