Job Summary
Press Operator 3rd Shift responsible for operating, setting up, and troubleshooting flexographic printing presses and auxiliary equipment to meet production standards and KPI targets. Duties include machine maintenance, 5S housekeeping, quality inspection, documentation, cross-training across multiple press lines, and collaborating with plant leadership to optimize processes and reduce costs. Must support safety regulations and follow instructions; role requires English proficiency, basic math, and color differentiation. Education/experience: AA or equivalent from a two-year college/technical school or 1–3 years related experience. This position emphasizes productivity, quality, and process improvement in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to perform basic math functions and use a ruler
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate effectively with co-workers
- Color differentiation capability per testing
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
