Job Summary
Coordinate make-ready, run, and clean-up of imaging equipment by operating splicers, mounting plates, and monitoring ink viscosity. Inspect product continuously to ensure it meets customer specifications while troubleshooting press and imaging equipment issues. Perform daily preventive maintenance on proprietary imaging systems and maintain a clean work area. Assist with catching and packing product as needed, operate CRTs to set imaging programs, and complete required paperwork and consumable maintenance. Collaborate with team members to reduce make-ready times and increase operating efficiencies while complying with all safety rules and regulations. Train and support new and existing team members.
Required Qualifications
- Good basic math and measurement skills
- Good mechanical skills
- Ability to read, comprehend what is read and visually inspect materials to check for quality and specifications
- Ability to discriminate colors and compare to specifications
- Ability to lift under 50 pounds frequently
- Willingness to cross train and perform duties of finishing and operations of the press
- Ability to train on 1st Shift
- Excellent communication skills
- Team-building skills
- Critical thinking skills
