Job Summary
Press Operator will operate, set up, and troubleshoot flexographic printing presses and auxiliary equipment to produce high-quality printed products. Responsibilities include changing plates, cylinders, and dies, performing basic machine maintenance, maintaining a clean 5S-friendly work area, and reporting malfunctions. The role requires cross-training across multiple press lines, adhering to quality inspection plans to minimize scrap and maximize yield, and collaborating with plant leadership across engineering, procurement, customer service, and logistics. The job emphasizes process improvement and adherence to health and safety regulations, with duties expanding as needed by plant leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to perform basic math functions and use a ruler
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to differentiate colors as determined by color vision testing
- Strong mechanical aptitude
