Job Summary
Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain flexographic press equipment by performing make-ready tasks such as mounting plates, installing print cylinders, and adjusting tension and register. Execute color correction, anilox adjustments, and press modifications to meet quality specifications. Clean, lubricate, and perform minor repairs or replace worn parts as required, adhering to manufacturer maintenance schedules. Requires thorough knowledge of flexographic printing procedures, materials, and safety standards, along with the ability to read job specifications and determine appropriate press settings. Proficiency in web path creation and routine operational maintenance is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of Flexographic printing procedures, materials and specifications, equipment, and safety requirements
- Skill to read and understand job specifications
- Knowledge of press capabilities to determine the most appropriate press usage, press settings and materials needed to run the job successfully
- Skill to make a variety of difficult precise web paths
- Skill to perform routine operational maintenance of equipment
- Skill in routine operational maintenance and minor repairs to equipment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic computer skills, excel, Word and Google
- Skill in use of Mark Andy, Aquaflex, Comco, Webtron, Gallus, Nil Peter
