Job Summary
As a Press Operator on 1st shift, you will be responsible for preparing components for the molding process, operating a molding press on our epoxy molding production line, and ensuring the highest level of quality in all parts produced. You will maintain accurate production paperwork (work orders), enter information into the computer system, load and unload molds, inspect components before and after molding, start and monitor the molding cycle, de-flash and patch molded parts, and pack/label completed parts. The role requires basic computer skills, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, standing most of the shift, proficiency with small handheld tools and handheld gauges, ability to perform manual tasks in a non-climate-controlled factory setting, and availability for overtime including mandatory Saturday shifts. Required Qualifications
- Prior production experience is a plus
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. multiple times a day
- Ability to stand for the majority of the shift
- Proficiency in operating small handheld tools
- Ability to visually inspect machined parts and gauge them using various handheld gauges
- Capability to perform manual work in a non-climate-controlled factory setting
- Availability for overtime hours, including mandatory Saturday shifts
- Must be at least 18 years old
