Job Summary
Operate press equipment to produce printed labels while maintaining quality, waste, and press efficiency. Execute make-ready procedures using correct cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers per job tickets and product specifications. Perform critical quality checks including copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion, adhering to BRC standards and visual/functional requirements. Complete daily housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and cleaning of plates, cylinders, and ink pans. Input material usage and time data accurately into the GlobeTek system. Work rotating 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts with frequent walking and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years as a printing press operator experience and/or training
- Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
