Job Summary
Press Maintenance Mechanic I is responsible for inspection, installation and repair of production machinery and tools, building and rebuilding equipment for manufacturing needs, documenting downtime with Plex, and performing preventative maintenance. Requires basic understanding of lubrication systems, ability to read mechanical prints, electrical troubleshooting with a meter (level I certification), and experience with presses, lathes, milling machines, drills, grinders, welders, forklifts, scissor lifts, and related shop equipment. The role operates on a 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule Friday-Sunday at the Kansas City, MO plant, with potential overtime. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of Machine Repair experience
- Pneumatics and Hydraulics experience
- Basic understanding of press controls and processes
- English fluency for safety procedures and instructions
- Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
