Job Summary
Assist the Press Operator with running the press to maximize productivity, including installing and uninstalling rolls, inserting 45lb cylinders, and splicing plastic for job continuity. Monitor ink levels, fill buckets with proper paint every 30 minutes to 8 hours, and change buckets as needed. Receive unprinted rolls from the extrusion team, compare printing samples against master samples for quality assurance, and palletize finished rolls for shipment. Work 8-hour rotating shifts, days, nights, and afternoons while meeting physical requirements to lift up to 50lbs regularly.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a flexographic or graphic litho press environment
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes
- Mechanical aptitude
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work 8-hour rotating shifts, days, nights & afternoons
- Team player and reliable
- Ability to meet the bona fide physical requirements to carry out the duties of the role, including standing, walking, climbing, lifting and carrying up to 50lbs regularly
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization and demonstrate a positive 'can-do' attitude
