Job Summary
Operate saws, extrusion presses, and packing equipment to produce aluminum extruded shapes meeting customer specifications. Move material and dies, verify manufacturing orders, and ensure all quality practices and safety guidelines are followed accurately. Maintain a clean, orderly work area using the 5S system while supporting cross-training initiatives and accurate business system transactions. Meet delivery schedules to ensure customer service and satisfaction. Salary starts at $18-$23/hour with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) match, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to recognize safety concerns
- Ability to utilize the proper inspection equipment per designated area
- A highly motivated self-starter
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read die drawings and inspect parts and surface finish according to customer specifications
- Ability to effectively work in a team environment
- Ability to take part in additional training e. Extrusion 101
- Ability to perform and assist with preventive maintenance
- Strong communication skills, problem solver, multi-tasker
- Ability to properly identify materials
