Job Summary
Operate Press Brake safely and perform simple to lead-level setups on Press Brake using part drawings and bend simulations. Maintain neat, safe work area; follow quality and routing procedures; log EPICOR transactions; inspect parts with precision gauging; perform material handling and tooling setup; lead and train on processes as needed; read blueprints, calculate tonnages and bend allowances, and apply knowledge of Cincinnati Press Brakes (including 90-, 135-, 230-ton models). Must lift up to 50 pounds and possess forklift certification. Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am in Bloomington, MN.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- CNC experience (preferred, required for L3 and Lead)
- Press Brake experience desirable for L1, Required for all other levels
- Advanced blueprint reading
- Advanced sheet metal inspection experience
- Working knowledge of controls for Cincinnati Press Brakes (Windows based)
- Ability to calculate required tonnages and bend allowances
- Ability to select proper tooling for forming parts (Acute, Gooseneck, Offset, etc.)
- Setup experience specific to level, department, or equipment
- Sheet Metal Layout experience (Tangent Correction, Basic Bend Allowance Etc.) Level 2 and up only
- Understanding of Material Properties including Flatness, Surface Grades, Types, Gauge etc. Level 2 and up only
