Job Summary
Set up and adjust specialized tooling on brake machines to prepare for production or assembly processes. Install, align, and clear alarms on equipment while reading blueprints and ensuring proper placement of parts. Operate machines to bend and form metal according to customer specifications, using precision measuring tools to verify accuracy and quality. Monitor processes, recommend improvements, and assist operators with inspection techniques and documentation. Report equipment malfunctions and maintain clean work areas to ensure efficient production flow. May serve as a lead in the absence of a supervisor or train new employees.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Monday-Thursday; 4:15pm-2:45 am
- Onsite
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Close vision
- Distance vision
- Peripheral vision
- Color vision
- Depth perception
- Ability to adjust focus

- Set Up assigned department machines and complete processes to company specifications on a consistent basis, to be operator-ready with minimal adjustments required and minimal scrap
- Understand the assembly and machine operations process and the movement of completed component
- Produce a high-quality product according to required specifications on a consistent basis
- Produce the required quantity of product according to required output specifications
- Use computers as required
- Use measuring tools as required
- Read and understand Blueprints
- Complete necessary paperwork accurately and timely
- Operate all hand tools, machines and equipment successfully as required and with minimal supervision
- Work as a productive team member who contributes to the organizations' success
- Handle fast-paced work
- Demonstrate the ability to take initiative to see tasks that are needed and complete them without being instructed to do so by supervisors or lead personnel
- Demonstrate dependability with good attendance
