Press Brake Programmer/Operator (3rd Shift)

Job Summary
The Press Brake Programmer/Operator is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating press brakes to produce accurate, high-quality formed parts. The role requires determining proper bend sequences and tooling selection, setting up machines to minimize downtime, and operating the press brake to ensure parts meet specifications. Successful candidates will have 3–7 years of press brake operation experience, programming capabilities, and familiarity with materials. Strong blueprint reading and basic inspection skills are essential, and the ability to support continuous improvement initiatives is valued.
Required Qualifications
- 3–7 years press brake operation experience in a fabrication environment
- Experience programming CNC press brakes
- Familiar with a variety of materials (steel, stainless, aluminum)
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Solid understanding of bend allowance / bend deduction, grain direction, springback
- Comfortable using basic inspection tools
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with offline programming software (e.g., AutoPOL, VPSS, RADAN)
- GD&T familiarity
- Experience in job shop / high-mix, low-volume environment
