Job Summary
Review job orders to determine customer specifications and select necessary dies. Set up the press by positioning dies and adjusting the ram, then configure feeders for fin and bracket components. Operate the mechanical brake press at required speeds to produce aluminum and steel products while performing periodic quality inspections. Complete job-specific paperwork and maintain safety standards using all required personal protective equipment. Assist with other cell areas and transfer to other cells as needed. This role supports our manufacturing team in delivering high-quality products to customers.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable transportation
- 5:30 am to 4:00 pm 10 hour shift Monday through Thursday
- 5:30 am to 4:00 pm 10 hour shift overtime when needed on Friday
- 5:30 am to 11:30 am 6 hour shift overtime when needed on Saturday
- Prior manufacturing experience with set-up and operation of presses
- Basic Mechanical Skills and ability to use small hand tools
- Prior vocational/trade school background preferred
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and utilize measuring equipment such as calipers/micrometer
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Must be able to lift minimum of 50 lbs
- Specific vision requirements of this position include close vision
- Must regularly be able to use hands to handle, feel, talk and hear
- The majority of the workday employee must stand and walk, reach, bend, stoop and lift
