Job Summary
Operate and set up AMADA press brake machines to produce parts per work orders and fabrication drawings. Read blueprints, apply bend deductions, and perform in-process inspections to meet tight tolerances. Complete ERP confirmations, maintain accurate production documentation, and follow safety protocols while performing basic preventative maintenance. Stand or walk for full shifts and lift 40-45 lbs in a manufacturing environment with overtime as needed. Compensation ranges from $21 to $28 per hour for Operator I and II roles across first and second shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years (Operator I) or 5+ years (Operator II) of precision sheet metal press brake experience
- Ability to read mechanical drawings
- Ability to safely operate AMADA press brake equipment
- Ability to stand/walk for full shift
- Ability to lift 40-45 lbs
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
- Availability for overtime
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with AMADA ASTRO robotic brake systems
- Experience with ERP systems
- Familiarity with shop equipment (saws, drill presses)
- Prior manufacturing experience
