Job Summary
Operate Bystronic Xpert 250 ton press brake to bend steel parts from 18-gauge to 1/2-inch, read blueprints/spec sheets, calibrate and program bend adjustments, and manually set/operate the press brake as needed. Responsibilities include changing tooling/dies, restocking materials, communicating material issues, measuring final products for uniformity, collaborating with QA to create assembly documentation and work instructions, maintaining a safe working environment, performing routine maintenance, and training other fabrication/finish personnel on the bend process. This role is located in Vancouver, WA, reporting to the Interim Lead Welder, with standard shift hours 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, and requires drug screening and background checks. Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of press brake operation experience
- High school diploma / GED, or equivalent additional job experience
- Understand weld prints and callouts
- Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
