Job Summary
Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form parts according to blueprints and specifications. Read shop drawings to determine part dimensions and tolerances, select and install proper tooling and dies, measure finished parts with calipers and other tools, adjust controls to maintain accuracy, perform routine machine maintenance, maintain a clean and safe work area, and collaborate with engineering/fabrication teams to ensure product quality and schedule adherence. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience operating a press brake (CNC preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and materials
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Mechanically inclined with good hand-eye coordination
