Press Brake Operator (Afternoons)

Job Summary

Set up, operate, and adjust press brake machinery to produce parts to specification, selecting proper tooling and dies based on material type and job requirements. Cut and form components from blueprint specifications to required tolerances, working with steel, aluminum, and various curved or angled parts. Perform routine machine troubleshooting and basic maintenance, while inspecting, measuring, and verifying final parts using calipers and gauges to ensure quality and safety standards. Maintain accurate production records, follow all OSHA regulations, and keep the work area clean by sweeping and removing debris daily. Package finished parts for shipment and assist in other manufacturing areas as needed. Full-time position in Johnstown, Ohio; prior manufacturing experience required with press brake operation preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Prior manufacturing and machine operator experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings
  • Knowledge of metal manufacturing materials and fabrication processes
  • Ability to learn additional production machinery as needed
  • Must possess visual abilities including close, distance, peripheral, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Regularly lift up to 20 lbs and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
  • Must possess visual abilities including close, distance, peripheral, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience operating a press brake or metal fabrication equipment
