Job Summary
Set up and operate CNC and manual press brake machines to bend, cut, and form sheet metal components to precise specifications. Load and unload raw materials, install tooling, and adjust machine settings while reading blueprints and verifying dimensions. Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards and perform daily startup, shutdown, and preventative maintenance procedures. Follow all OSHA regulations, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. This role involves working indoors or outdoors in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, requiring the ability to lift and move heavy objects continuously.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of CNC press brake operations and machine setup
- Strong shop math skills, including basic geometry and trigonometry
- Experience using precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift
- Capable of performing repetitive movements and manual tasks
- Ability to lift, move, and handle metal materials and components as required
