PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR- 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Operates press brake machines to bend and form metals to meet customer specification. Reads complex blueprints, performs calculations, and calibrates back gauge; runs first piece and proceeds to inspection or certification for approval. After first piece approval, adjusts machines with assistance from the Set-up Person and continues production, while using measuring equipment to verify dimensions and plotting SPC charts to monitor quality. Completes production paperwork, maintains a clean and safe work area, and performs other duties as assigned. Schedule is Monday-Thursday, 3pm-1am; requires 2nd shift experience and adherence to policies and procedures, with no supervision beyond standard guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months to 2 years press brake experience
- Ability to read complex blueprints
- Advanced knowledge of press brake and use basic quality inspection equipment such as calipers, protractors, and micrometers
