Job Summary
Operate a press brake machine on the 2nd shift to read blueprints, set up dies/tools, program CNC controls, bend and cut sheet metal to spec, and inspect finished parts for tolerances. Maintain organized work areas, perform routine machine maintenance, document production activity, and suggest process improvements while adhering to safety protocols to produce high-quality steel components.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints
- Ability to program press brake machines using CNC controls
