Job Summary
Fabricate custom parts using press brakes, Pem machines, spot welds, and deburring equipment by loading, installing, and setting up tools according to daily production schedules. Receive written and verbal instructions on order priorities, check raw materials from inventory, and move finished goods to other areas. Maintain a clean, safe work area while operating CNC press brakes, Trumpf, and Amada equipment, and assist with special projects as assigned. Read and follow flat patterns, drawings, and quality documents while using measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers. Work in a manufacturing environment with machinery, dust, and noise, wearing required protective clothing.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience
- Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Able to read and understand flat patterns and prints
- Ability to prepare and run complex bend set ups and forming operations
- Capable of using all press brake features which includes but not limited to bending at angles, step bends, proper back gauge transfer between steps, delays etc
- Experienced and competent using measuring instruments such as micrometers, Vernier calipers and angle measurement instruments
- Ability to read quality documents and drawings
- Follow drawings, understand verbal directions
- Must possess a strong attention to detail
- Must be able to tolerate long periods of standing
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Proficient computer skills
- Experience in set up and operating CNC press brakes, Trumpf and Amada
Desired Qualifications
