Press Brake Operator - 1st & 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Operate a computer-controlled press brake to cut, shape, and bend materials in an indoor metal fabrication environment. Adjust machine parts to ensure proper speed, pressure, temperature, and material utilization; monitor and control machines to meet daily/weekly production schedules; perform quality checks and complete paperwork to maintain regulatory and company standards. Maintain a clean, safe work area; review work orders/instructions to determine required ingredients, machines, parts, and materials; engage in ongoing training to stay current with techniques, safety regulations, and equipment; troubleshoot and repair equipment for optimal product quality and efficiency. Additional duties as assigned. Shift is 1st from 5:45AM-3:15PM (Mon-Thu) and some Fri 6:45AM-10:45AM; 2nd shift benefits and overtime opportunities available.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with operating large manufacturing machines is desired
- Strong technical and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to read Blueprints and drawings is a plus
- Ability to use a tape measurer and convert measurements into decimals
- Following verbal and written work instructions
- Regular attendance required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
