Job Summary
Inspect warehouse for unwrapped rolls, missing tappis, damaged rolls, and stacking issues. Check, fix, and re-tape outer wraps on rolls; relabel and cut down damaged product. Assist warehouse personnel to prioritize receiving shipments and inspect paper rolls for accuracy and damage. Perform carton making, shred printed documents, and clean, sweep floors, and aisles throughout the shift. Adhere to safety policies including hazardous waste handling, lockout-tagout rules, and PEP. Train to operate a forklift, clamp truck, and walker/ryder. Work Monday through Friday from 3pm to 11pm.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to be a self-starter and work with limited supervision and complete required tasks on a daily basis
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out - tag out rules and hearing and eye protection policies
- Will train to operate a fork truck, clamp truck, and walker/ryder
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience highly preferred but not required
- Previous experience in a printing environment preferred
- Some experience in the operation of various hand tools preferred
