Job Summary
Press Assistant responsibilities include loading materials (inks, glues, etc.) into feeders, adjusting feeder mechanisms based on paper size, delivering equipment components to the press, recycling old plates, assisting with make-ready, retrieving/hanging/storing plates, and supporting press setup, operation, and maintenance. The role requires basic presswork knowledge learned on the job and the ability to follow instructions, operate hand carts/pallet jacks, and handle related materials and equipment in a 1st shift printing environment.
Required Qualifications
