Job Summary
Lead the overall growth strategy, including market expansion, new client acquisition, and revenue growth to scale annual revenue from approximately $30M to $50M+. Own full P&L responsibility, delivering strong financial performance, profitability, and shareholder value while driving operational excellence across all projects. Build and develop high-performing leadership teams across operations, project management, estimating, business development, and support functions. Expand relationships with developers, owners, general contractors, engineers, consultants, and key industry stakeholders to maximize equipment utilization and asset return. Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement while leading strategic planning initiatives. Report directly to the Board of Directors to shape the future direction of this well-established shoring and foundations contractor specializing in deep excavation support systems and heavy civil infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience within shoring, foundations, geotechnical construction, heavy civil infrastructure, or related construction sectors
- Demonstrated success leading a profitable construction business with full P&L accountability
- Proven track record of growing revenue, expanding market share, and improving profitability
- Strong understanding of deep foundations, excavation support systems, geotechnical construction, and heavy civil projects
- Experience leading unionized construction operations and working effectively with labour partners
- Exceptional leadership skills with a passion for developing people, building teams, and creating high-performance cultures
- Strong business development and relationship management capabilities with clients, consultants, and industry partners
- Strategic mindset with the ability to balance growth, operational performance, workforce development, and financial discipline
