Job Summary

Lead overall business operations of the subsidiary with full responsibility for growth, profitability, revenue generation, and positive cash flow. Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with corporate objectives while identifying opportunities for expansion, operational improvement, and market growth. Provide executive oversight of programs and contracts to ensure successful performance, customer satisfaction, and contractual compliance, serving as the primary point of contact for customer concerns and service delivery matters. Maintain accountability for financial performance including revenue growth, profitability, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management. Monitor key performance indicators to measure operational success, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies. Establish operational priorities, performance standards, and standard operating procedures to drive consistent execution and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Security Management, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible leadership experience managing complex programs, projects, operations, and contract portfolios
  • Demonstrated experience leading business operations with full profit and loss (P&L) responsibility, including revenue growth, profitability, forecasting, and financial management
  • Proven success overseeing large-scale federal contracts and ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and contractual compliance
  • Experience partnering with executive-level leadership, senior government officials, and key customer stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success capturing, winning, and transitioning multimillion-dollar federal contracts into full operational performance
  • Experience managing geographically dispersed operations, personnel, and customers across multiple locations
  • Strong understanding of federal contracting environments, including: Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus, Time & Materials (T&M), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Basic Ordering Agreements (BOA), General Services Administration (GSA) Schedules
  • Thorough understanding of federal contract administration practices, including modifications, amendments, equitable adjustments, contract changes, task orders, and performance management
  • Working knowledge of the Small Business Administration (SBA), socioeconomic programs, and federal small business contracting requirements
  • Understanding of the unique federal contracting attributes, benefits, and compliance requirements associated with Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs)
  • Understanding of Service Contract Act (SCA) requirements, wage determinations, workforce management, and Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs)
  • Experience developing and managing pricing strategies, fringe pools, indirect rate structures, labor categories, and cost models
  • Familiarity with the Shipley business development methodology and proposal development processes
  • Successfully pass background and drug screening

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or related graduate degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification
  • Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification
  • Experience leading organizations within the security, federal services, critical infrastructure, defense, technology, engineering, or professional services sectors
  • Prior executive leadership experience managing diverse contract portfolios and multiple business units
