Job Summary
President and CEO of CMAA leads strategy and operations across CMAA, CMAA Foundation, CMCI, and College of Fellows, driving governance, credentialing, workforce development, member engagement, external advocacy, and organizational growth. Responsibilities include partnering with boards, guiding strategic direction, sustaining credential programs (CACM, CCM, CMIT), expanding industry relevance, overseeing staff of 24 across advocacy, credentialing, development, communications, operations, and governance, and supporting fundraising for scholarships and workforce initiatives. The role demands strategic vision, strong communication, remote/distributed leadership experience, stakeholder relationship-building across industry, government, academia, and members, and a track record of steering organizations through growth while managing budgets (approximately $7.4MM operating and $5.7MM reserves). The role offers fully remote work with up to 33% travel for board and chapter activities, and a base salary range of $325K-$375K plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of senior leadership experience within a professional association, credentialing organization, or the architecture, engineering, construction, infrastructure, or related professional services sectors.
