Preservation Team Lead

Job Summary
The Team Leader - Preservation will oversee the execution of production orders and lead Preservation staff to meet production goals, identify and implement process-improvement opportunities, ensure resources (materials, equipment, and people) are available to maintain schedules, and drive safety, quality, cost, and customer-service goals. Responsibilities include managing workflow from assigned associates, implementing policies, training team members on Work Instructions, providing daily production/quality feedback, submitting performance reports, collaborating with Operations leadership on forecasts, and maintaining high morale and an engaged, team-oriented culture. Hands-on leadership to drive efficiency and quality, monitoring throughput, and guiding continuous improvements while ensuring established work standards are followed and production documentation is completed accurately.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 2-4 years’ experience as a Preservation technician, or in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent communication skills
- A solid understanding of operations management and organizational methods
- Problem solving skills
- Leadership ability, and a highly organized approach to leadership
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar
