Job Summary
Full-time Educational Performer who will make history engaging for elementary students through live, interactive presentations. Responsibilities include memorizing and dynamically presenting three scripts in an engaging manner (up to two presentations per day, each ~2.5 hours), solo presenting with transporting and setting up display equipment, traveling to a large calendar area to visit schools, coordinating travel and expense reports, and maintaining positive interactions with students and teachers. Training comprises a multi-stage schedule in Southern California with meals/lodging provided; salary is $4,200/month after training, with mileage reimbursement and no take-home work. The role requires a valid driver’s license, DOJ background check, strong classroom management and communication skills, and the ability to work five days a week on a set calendar; travel and varying daily site locations are expected.
