Job Summary
Educational Performer (Teacher/Presenter) makes history come alive for students with daily live presentations at California elementary schools. Responsibilities include memorizing and dynamically presenting three scripts in an engaging manner (up to two presentations per day, each about 2.5 hours), solo presenting/teaching with setup/teardown of display equipment, travel to different schools, attending staff meetings, and completing expense and evaluation reports. The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, ability to command a room, willingness to travel, and a valid driver’s license with a DOJ background check. Training lasts multiple days with paid training during the initial period, and benefits include medical insurance for the employee, paid holidays, and mileage reimbursement. The position is full-time with a seasonal calendar (October through mid-June) and summer off, with additional potential per diem and travel-related expenses as noted.
