Job Summary
Full-time Educational Presenter to make history come alive for elementary students. Will memorize and dynamically present three scripts in a highly engaging manner, deliver up to two presentations daily (each ~2.5 hours), travel to a large calendar area, set up and tear down display equipment, and manage itineraries and expense reports. Requires strong public speaking, classroom interaction, organizational and communication skills, a valid driver’s license, DOJ background check, and the ability to work a set 5-day calendar with travel to various schools in Southern California. Training period includes 10-12 days on first presentation, plus additional training days; all training occurs at the Southern California office with lodging and meals provided when needed. Competitive salary with benefits; mileage reimbursement; uniform attire provided; paid school holidays and summer time off not paid. No sales and the schedule includes frequent travel and early starts; occasional per diem and travel reimbursements are included.
