Presenter Teacher Performer

Educational Presenter (Teacher / Presenter) needed to bring history to life for elementary students. Responsible for solo presenting up to two 2.5-hour presentations per day, memorize and perform three scripts in an engaging manner, and travel to different schools in a large calendar area. Role involves setting up and tearing down display equipment, driving to schools, attending 5 staff meetings in a season at the Tustin, CA office, and submitting monthly expense reports and evaluations. Requires a positive, fun personality, strong classroom/performing skills, problem-solving, effective communication, adaptability to a changing environment, and a valid driver’s license with DOJ background check clearance. Training consists of 10-12 consecutive business days for the first presentation, followed by additional training days for subsequent presentations. Full-time/seasonal with a salary of $4,000 per month after training, plus paid training at $140 per day, mileage reimbursement, and holiday pay benefits. There is travel involved to schools, and the calendar is set in advance with no work taken home after training. Candidates should be capable of sustaining an engaging, five-day workweek and maintaining a high work ethic to ensure a successful calendar.
